Nomad is our secure, online benefits portal. It’s your one-stop-shop for everything to do with your BBD clients and groups. You can view a full list of your clients with BBD, access a summary of their information, view your in progress quotes and sales, and run reports such as a group record summary – all from one portal. We also provide you with a “Resources” tab where you’ll find all of the forms you need, but also important information and announcements from BBD.

2. Supported by a National Team

We have always been a national team with offices across the country, but we have recently made some internal changes to really make this a part of our identity. Advisors still have one main point of contact in their Regional Directors, but those Regional Directors are now supported by a dedicated Account Manager. The Account Manager assists behind the scenes and gives added support to busy Advisors.

3. Webinars on Timely Content

Webinars are a fantastic way to digest information and gives Advisors the ability to ask questions of an expert on a given subject in real time. In 2018, we’ve held webinars on the renewal process, Long Term Disability (LTD) trends and claims issues, and more! Our next webinar, “Biologics & Biosimilars: A Green Shield Canada Perspective” is coming up on Tuesday, October 16th and provides excellent insight into the current Canadian biosimilar market.

4. Regional Directors

Regional Directors work closely with Advisors to help them and their clients, and we believe in their mission so much that in early 2018 we added two new ones to the ranks, bringing our total up to eleven. Now our Regional Directors across the country cover less ground, but have a narrower focus, allowing for a greater focus on who’s most important – you. 5. Partner Forums and Other Events

Partner Forums bring together our Advisor partners to discuss industry trends, exciting new products and more. More recently however, we have shifted the focus of our Partner Forums to be all about you and your own professional development, such as sales training workshops.
