Health Care Spending Account Application


A Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) provides a non-taxable alternative or supplement to a traditional benefits plan. Employers select a dollar amount for their employees to spend on eligible expenses and the employee decides how to spend the money.

HCSAs are regulated by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), and only expenses listed as eligible by the CRA can be covered by a HCSA.

Neal began his career as an advisor 15 years ago, quickly securing both life and mutual fund licenses in 2005 and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation by 2011. Neal has been on the professional advisory committee for Fanshawe College’s financial planning program since 2013 and continues to help students build a higher level of professionalism in the industry. As well, Neal volunteers with FP Canada, who are dedicated to ensuring better health for Canadians by certifying professional financial planners and leading the industry for financial planning in Canada. In June of 2018, Neal completed his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation earning 2nd place finish for outstanding performance on the 2018 President’s list from the Financial Planners Standards Council.
